3MTM Light Cure Adhesives
Precision bonding, potting, encapsulation, tacking, and more at the speed of light.
With cure speeds generally less than 5 seconds, you can raise the speed limit for many
electronic assembly applications. These specialized acrylate formulations cure on demand when exposed to UV or visible light.
And for precision targeting and placement, each adhesive in the line is available in 3, 5, 10, and 30ml EFD®-compatible syringes.
>Use with manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic dispensing systems to meet your production requirements for encapsulation, potting, fixturing, wire tacking, sealing,
conformal coating, and lens bonding.
Select UV curing versions for thin films and coatings,
and bonding heat-sensitive substrates. For curing through thicker
sections, visible light formulations cure to depths of 2" to almost
4".
For visible light, the 3M Curing Light VL1 (at right) is a compact and convenient hand
tool for spot curing.
